2005-03-04 05:51:00 | But why? I don't know, but I do like the fact that it supports rendering in both Mozilla-like and IE-like fashion. I am writing HTML and was considering purchasing XP just to run IE to check my code. Announcement here (www.betanews.com).

2005-03-04 07:15:00 | Meh. It's IMO just a Firefox ripoff that adds the insecure IE engine support. Heck, the only possible good that could come from this is Firefox extension support, but nooo. The Firefox adblock works on Mozilla, but not the Firefox based Nutscrape! How the hell does that do any good? Grade: F Next please

2005-03-04 07:24:00 | Meh. It's IMO just a Firefox ripoff that adds the insecure IE engine support. I don't think adding IE-style rendering support will make it IE-style insecure. And the Firefox rendering engine, Gecko, originates from Netscape I think. Anyway, I won't dismiss it yet until I've given it a good run down the track.

2005-03-04 07:29:00 | I don't think adding IE-style rendering support will make it IE-style insecure. Hey, it itself said that using the IE engine was insecure. So there we go then O_O

2005-03-04 16:04:00 | A more comprehensive review is here (www.informationweek.com H0CJUMEKJVN?articleID=60405475). Actually it doesn't look all that bad in concept. This would make it even easier for staunch IE users to abandon IE.

2005-03-04 23:11:00 | How? I found it no harder switching IE -> Firefox than IE -> Nutscrape. If they really want to switch so badly, Firefox is the way to go. | Edward (31) | |

Not you maybe, so I would not recommend this product to you. But apparently, there is some 90% of the browsing public still using that other thing. This, I take it, is targetted at that other 90%. Not you, Edward. |

2005-03-05 03:33:00 | I'm looking forward to it when it's gone beyond beta. Netscape been my darling for so many years, and the likes of other Mozilla flavours, Firefox included, all just try and emulate the one truly great non-IE browser! | Greg (193) | |
2005-03-05 08:04:00 | Still, Netscape 7.2 was a deacent browser, with it's own components & style. This just looks like Firefox with a new skin. I dearly hope to god that they'll still develop a Netscape 7.2 style browser Brought to you from Firefox
