| 329292 | 2005-03-01 07:25:00 | Hi all, I was doing some surfing today and I came across a website that offerers you access to online surveys provided by various companies that will pay you for the time that you take to complete the survey. I was curious about this site so I had a better look around and searched for some more sites, I eventually found this quick-review.com which is a review of several of these survey sites. What I would like to know is......Are these sites legitimate? as you have to pay to join them I am extremely weary about giving them any money and also has anyone tried taking any of these surveys or any similar things, market research programs etc? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

You should never have to pay a fee to register with these companies or to participate in a survey -- they are they ones who pay you. And yet you are considering paying to do a survey & then hoping they will pay you more? IMO it's garbage |

It is saying that you shouldn't have to pay the company that is surveying you, but you have to pay the site that is giving your information to the company that is surveying as the surveys are by invitation only. Does anyone else know anything about this? |

| 329298 | 2005-03-03 01:28:00 | Bruce Simpson had a go at one of these sites a little while ago - there's a good chance it's the same one you saw. He did some digging and reckoned it was a scam. I looked at it as well and couldn't see anything obviously wrong, but the whole thing just smells too much to me. They wouldn't get my money without some hard evidence or review from a reputable source.
