| 643110 | 2008-02-26 06:57:00 | I had the same problem Hi BM You had PoldbitS ?.... or perhaps another program ? I paid good money for Polderbits. Preferably I would like to get it to work. May though have to use the program you suggest or Audacity, but prefer to work with something (being PolderbitS), which has been okay in the past :) Will also have to ponder what Bantu has suggested. Slightly complicated for me - but keep extending myself, bit by bit ! Misty |

Back in Post 4 you said about the Sounds, just checked this XP and its the same BUT go back into the control Panel /Sounds and Audio Devices under the " Audio" tab, in the middle is " Sound Recording" Your Audio card should be the one that is selected, if its not then using the dropdown box and see if you can select it. If Its not showing you may need to remove the software / Drivers and reinstall it again. |

| 643112 | 2008-02-26 09:16:00 | If you installed a new motherboard and it has onboard audio on it, then sufficient drivers (unless it's terribly outdated) for it should be on the accompanying disc that you get with the m/b. Just make sure you've installed that/whatever audio manager is on the disc (Realtek?) and your recording should work as it has for you before. | Deathwish (143) | ||

It is the only thing in the drop down box. ********************************* If you installed a new motherboard and it has onboard audio on it, then sufficient drivers (unless it's terribly outdated) for it should be on the accompanying disc that you get with the m/b. Hi Deathwish When I had the new motherboard installed the technician forgot to load any of the drivers. However at that time I took the disc and loaded them myself successfully :illogical Thanks for both suggestions ! Misty :waughh: |
