| 643020 | 2008-02-24 02:13:00 | I recently purchased the logitech wave keyboard . everything works beautifully with out the setpoint software that came with it, except the hot keys . So I put the setpoint software on my computer just so I could get the hot keys going, but the things it never worked . I emailed the logitech people, and they told me to do a clean reinstallation of the software, so I uninstalled the setpoint and downloaded the latest version on the official website and installed it, it never work . in the other hand, my G5 gamming mouse (which I purchased with the keyboard at the same time) works beautifully with the same setpoint software . It appears to me that the software works for the mouse but not the keyboard . :badpc: Just to give you some extra information, the keyboard and the mouse are both directly plugged into my computer . and I am using windows vista business 32-bit as my OS . So what went wrong? how come the hot keys are not working? is it something wrong with my computer or is it something wrong with the keyboard? Did I missed any settings or anything that I have to tweak before I could get the keyboard to work?:nerd: thanks for your time and any sort of help is greatly appreciated . cheers . |

Which browser are you using? The following web browsers are supported by the current version of SetPoint software: * Netscape 4 and later * AOL 4 and later * Internet Explorer 6 * Firefox 1.0.4 |

But when/if you do get them working, uberOptions allows for FAR more flexibility in button assignment. Also (I don't know if this is true for all keyboards or the latest version of setpoint) but when I installed setpoint on my computer, it broke some of the media keys, with the only way to use them for their intended function was to install uberOptions. |
