| 643011 | 2008-02-23 22:23:00 | I installed the divx codec to decode some old dvix3 files that Xvid couldn't decode, and now Divx decodes all my Xvid files aswell. Is there any way for me to tell it to keep it's hands off my xvid files? |

| 643013 | 2008-02-24 00:06:00 | It doesn't have the decode xvid option - it is supposed to do that automatically, but Divx stole it | Greven (91) | ||

You can download a small utility (15kB) called MMView from www.nirsoft.net Using this you can disable Divx entirely, and then Xvid is definitely used to decode Xvid files. Just tried it. Divx is not then available for anything, I assume. |
