328928 2005-02-28 08:17:00 got a question

Boost mobile and telecom mobile are both owned by Telecom.

I see that boost mobile offers a bit better deal than telecom.

I can see the reason for boost if it wasn't own by telecom

But I don't get why boost was developed?Telecom has its own 027 network already.

Whats the competition and whats the point of making boost

they both owned by telecom and telecom earns the money.
I don't really get what the point>?

328930 2005-02-28 08:53:00 It's Telecom, you're not supposed to get it. ninja (1671)
328931 2005-02-28 09:00:00 boost mobile is a franchise which telecom has bought, theres a boost mobile over in oz too, not sure about abyone else, but its still gay because they promote it to the souf ackland maori/polynesian teenager with little money, no we dont all listen to scribe and nesian mystic Tux (606)
328932 2005-03-01 05:00:00 I had a phone on Telecom $10 txt (500 txts to any phone), then I changed to Boost mobile $10 txt (1000 txts to Telecom only) and I found that txt's seemed to take longer to get through, compared to the plain Telecom plan. Sometimes they didn't get through at all.

I'm guessing they don't allow enough resources for 'peak' times.

328933 2005-03-01 05:23:00 Same reason Freedom Air is owned by Air NZ, so they can get money from all audiences

Also why Loreal is owned by Clairol, which in turn is owned by Garnier. So they can get money from supermarket brand, pharmacy and top class
