2005-02-27 23:11:00 | 000k provide free and paid web hosting. I would presume a whole boatload of site have disapeared from the face of the planet. Their homepage still shows up all fine and dandy though.

2005-02-28 06:25:00 | I suspect the only reason a *webmaster* from the UK comes and signs up on a NZ based PC Forum and makes a solitary post is that they are peeved off at 000k and are trying to spread ugly, unsubstantiated rumours around the www. No links were supplied to back up this statement, no statements are on the 000k website which looks like business as usual there. I do note that 000k has this to say: Accounts that violated 000k Terms of Service will be terminated quickly without notice. If you have used a proxy, shell script or server intensive script as specified in the Terms, it will be detected and account will be removed.

2005-02-28 06:36:00 | My site was there on Saturday/Sunday, but seems to be gone today... They had some server trouble in October 2004 and were down for a couple of days (and sent an apologetic email, even to free users, to explain the downtime when they got up and running again) - maybe that's the case this time? Here's hoping :) Mike.

2005-02-28 10:45:00 | My 000K site's down too. Damn, I put quite some time into it. I used the Fantastico online photo-album feature, and whilst the original pics are still on my PC I had them sorted and labelled nicely on 000K. | Jester (13) | |

Yeah, their home page is still up, but no one is able to get to their sites . I lost a site I had hosted on 000k myself -- got connection refused errors last Friday because Apache was down, it then came up on Saturday, and on Sunday the entire server went down with not a single response from 000k to my various inquiries . Also, I gotta wonder . . . they were offering a LOT for free hosting . But despite offering dedicated hosting, there's really no way to contact them to purchase it . Sot it wouldn't suprise me at all if they really did go out of business . |

2005-03-02 17:01:00 | I had a site on 000k2. 000k2 was the free hosting server. that is gone. 000k (paid sites)seems to still be up. About a week ago I couldn't get into Cpanel because of an expired liscense issue or something. then a few days ago the site went down completly. Of course, they offer no assistance for free accounts so we are left in the dark as to what happened with them. 000k2.com (http://000k2.com/)
