328652 2005-02-27 03:37:00 Has anyone else investigated this Indranet company indranet.co.nz and their FraMe broadband network, iPower Cogen units and zero emision cars?

I've tried to work out how the FraMe network works and all I can establish is that you need a antenae, because everytime it gets to an explination it seems to use made up products
"symmetrical low latency broadband has become the new benchmark for connectivity.

the zero emision vehicle they have got soem sort of rights to sound interesting, theaircar.com although because it is so secret its hard to tell if its real

328653 2005-02-27 04:15:00 Indranet was discussed a week or two ago - you might want to have a read of this (pressf1.co.nz) andrew93 (249)
328654 2005-02-27 05:19:00 I've taken a bit of interest in these dudes because i live near the CHCH branch. They had a bit more detail on their interweb site a couple of years back saying how they would achieve their fast network. It seemed to work on a concept where each custumers radio conection would be a node that would relay to the next..... Nothing seems to have happened, and my, what a big flash office they have for a company that doesn't actually do anything! No surprise they are now looking for some more money, um i mean investment...... personthingy (1670)
328655 2005-02-27 18:07:00 Reading their adverts, it seems to me that they have cherrypicked some interesting future technologies, but physically have nothing to show of it.

Here's their site..

The company had planned to start commercialising its technology in 2003 but revenue in the latest interim report for the six months to June 2004 was zero. No figures have been provided for the six months to December.
