| 643432 | 2008-02-26 05:48:00 | Yeah I'm in Nelson as well. We had this problem for a few weeks last year and Ihug actually gave a partial discount that month after admitting a fault for users in Nelson. It seems better today. Lets see how it goes this evening.. |

None of my gear is ADSL 2 compatible so I doubt I've been effected by recent changes with that, but it's great :) | Deathwish (143) | ||

| 643435 | 2008-02-26 22:31:00 | Its been fine here, depending on your plan (Broadband 3) you may have been temporarily capped though. Seriously.. ring the helpdesk and tell them! If you dont, they might never know! I was capped a month ago during the middle of the month and they said we'd downloaded 8GB in a day like 3 days back.. I knew for a fact that I was the only one home, and I keep a close eye on the usage meter.. that 8GB was only about 500MB a day or two ago.. something fishy was going on. Rang the Helpdesk who said I was the 3rd person that morning who reported that usage appeared to have been 'added' to that day, so yeah.. :) they sped me back up and nixed the usage on that day! |

| 643436 | 2008-02-26 23:45:00 | I am in Nelson also and have no unusual problems.However if I try to download after 8am then things are normally slow due to nz businesses,schools etc getting on line locally. Also depending on the site being downloaded take account of their time of day.To download from the US it is 200% faster at 5am than it will be at midday.It is no good blaming your service provider unless you understand the facts.OK if you downloaded yesterday from a site at 3am then went back today at the same time and it was noticably slower it could be your ISP MAYBE. |
