643712 2008-02-28 23:38:00 I'm on dialup but thats not the problem, I can be surfing eg on Trademe and close the internet connection all keeps working, its when I close Trademe and come back to the desktop screen that all freezes.
I have run malware,Antivirus, adware and nothing changes.
There was a fix for this problem about 5 years ago but I cannot recall what we dids to fix it.
I had to totally rebuild my programmes and this is the outcome
Thanks

643715 2008-02-29 00:17:00 Looks ok to me but you can tick these entries then tick fix checked

Close browser/s.

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSMSGS] "C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /background

O4 - Global Startup: Adobe Reader Speed Launch.lnk = C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\reader_sl.exe

INCD could be the prob, it does cause probs

And SP2 might fix the prob as well.

And if youre using IE 6 for browsing, I would update it with the IE6 patches, or IE 7.

If you havent installed any updates

I would use something better than Windows Messenger.
