I have one that was so old, now it does not even turn on, last time it was used as Telecom has a promotion that if you take a old telecom handset they would connect it up for free and give you a small credit (prepaid). Just out of interest, if you had a telecom handset does it need to be connected to the Telecom network? Given that the $300 credit available with the Vodafone promotion, could you sign up with a 025/027 handset go on a contract and after one month disconnect? I read the fineprint on the advertisement but they didn't have anything. |

Perhaps you do not understand the meaning of a "contract", as if you are contracted and disconnect before the expiry of the contract severe penalties occur. |

| 332051 | 2005-03-10 21:28:00 | I thought Vodafone went away with consumer plan contracts some yrs ago? Unless they are talking about a daytime plan contract? I remember when I got my 5110 with 3 yr consumer contract plan, the phone was free, but after two yrs they did a publication that they would stop doing contracts with consumer plans, hence my plan I had I could of stopped it anytime and that any phones at the store won't be discounted unless you went on a business daytime plan. Or the $300 promotion only for business plans? |
