| 644568 | 2008-02-28 01:51:00 | was wondering if anybody had any view/advice/reccomendations for a 4 port usb(?) kvm switch that would allow my logitech mx1000 mouse to retain its "customised" settings????????? at the mo have a belkin omniview pro 8 port (ps2 based) and when ever i change over to pc 2 then back to pc1, all the settings are gone and it seems the only way to get them back (that i've found - and must confess i've tended to live with it) it re-boot pc1 any ideas etc would be gratefully received........ ta in advance regards |

| 644569 | 2008-02-28 08:06:00 | I use a NovaView 4 port PS/2 KVM switch with a MS wireless 4000 desktop keyboard and mouse, the keyboard connection on the receiver is ps/2 and the mouse usb, I added a usb--->ps/2 covertor and installed the IntelliPOINT/TYPE drivers for the wireless desktop and everything works fine... hope that helps Cheers, |
