333856 2005-03-14 05:39:00 Anyone use this version of Nero with a DL burner??

Even tho this version now supports DVD-R DL burners, do DVD-R DL blanks exist?? I cant say I've seen them around here.

And has anyone tried to do a DVD on a DVD+R DL blank, if their burner only supports DVD+R DL?? And does it work?

I cant see the point in Nero supporting DVD-R DL if there are no burners that do DVD-R or the blank DVD-R DL's dont exist!

True. We're a bit slow (as always :D )

Why shouldn't it work, if that's what the burner is made for and you're using the correct media?

I meant if the burner is a DVD+R and since Nero only says DVD-R does it work? If u do a DL disk.

I can't see what the problem is in getting a feature even if it can't currently be used.

Also true I guess. Altho, would u spend 13-15 for 1 DL +, only to find out that it doesnt work in Nero?

333859 2005-03-14 06:06:00 I've seen dual layer blanks for sale at DSE and , I think, the Warehouse. About $23-25 a disc, so gave it a miss until I really need it, hopefully by then the price will have come down. Murray P (44)
333860 2005-03-14 07:56:00 Plus the fact they take 45 minutes to burn.

Think i would be using 4.7 discs no matter what the price is.

Check qmb.co.nz as they have cheap DL +R media :)

Im still content with the 50-pack of CMC DVD-R's they offer!
