644444 2008-03-14 10:18:00 Sorry if I sounded a bit cross (dude :)), but all we can do from here is guide you to find the problem yourself, we cant find the problem for you; as Agent 24 and I said, it needs more effort (knowledge?) on your part, or possibly either expert hands-on help from your dealer or a more knowledgeable friend: I dont know what the warranty period is, but you're wasting precious time trying to work it out yourself, it's been 15 days since the thread started, and you havent gotten any closer to a fix (time to admit defeat?). Also, if you mess about with the hardware, your warranty may be voided  .
BTW, I can understand you perfectly well (english is my first language :)).

Thx helping anyway. If it was a software problem there is no worries about warranties - Warranties cover HARDWARE not software.
You can put what ever OS you like on a system.

No way I can fix it myself If its a hard drive failing - and you say its is making a strange noise theres no way you can actually fix that apart from replacing the drive.
Its like popping a balloon then saying you can put it back together with tape and blowing it back up again.

If the PC is still under warranty why would you void it and pay more money when you don't have to - thats plain crazy :waughh:
