2008-02-28 19:01:00 | Are those the Exact reports from the SYSTEM error snap shot you took, and the EXACT ones I asked For in post 6 - if they are not then they are not of much use. Looking at the logs posted and the event ID's they are not the same as the screen shot provided in the first post.

2008-02-28 19:50:00 | If it is still under warranty you should return the whole thing and get them to sort it. The warranty on software the OS is limited (Varies but maybe 1 month) so take it back before it expires. | Colpol (444) | |
2008-02-28 20:07:00 | So did you run chkdisk? If this is under warranty (If it was a system), why did you install XP and Vista on it then? You should have used the original OS. I would say its something else on your system causing the prob, like a driver as well

2008-02-28 20:31:00 | Just looked at the dump files you posted - Without wishing to state the obvious :D something is corrupting your OS and causing the BSOD. Two items that appears many times is Cant read the memory and NTOSKRNL.EXE is damaged or corrupted. listing what the other people have also put do the following. Download Memtest - its in my sig, its a direct ISO Image thats zipped, unzip it then using a image burning section of your CD writing program burn it to a CD, if you dont have have one, theres Image Burn in my sig as well. Boot the PC from the CD and let it run - anything in red is faulty RAM. Also this PC did you build it yourself or is it prebuilt? Some other reasons could be RAM not in the correct slots running as Duel Channel, but not working as Duel Channel. Next As speedy said run Chkdsk. Eaiest way is to go to My Computer, right click the Drive,properties/Tools/check Now/put ticks in both boxes, click start. You will get a message saying it cant run and asks to run on reboot - agree and restart the PC, let it run through ( may take a while) DONT stop it once it starts. After that, once started, click start/run, type in sfc /scannow press enter. have your XP CD handy as it will more than likely want it to repair system files. All this should take around an hour or more. The second screen shot of the Disk error really says it all The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable

2008-02-28 20:41:00 | I uninstalled windows vista (original one) because I didnt like it, does it mean that my warranty or over x.x ? It shouldnt be OS problem since Ive tried 3 diff ones. Will try MemTest and post my results soon. Did Chkdsk and will do sfc /scannow later. PC is prebuilt. About warranty - If I return it with a copy of windows xp pro, will they discover it as a copy and do something for using it? ~ Thanks for trying to help me, other forums just ignored mostly. Ok, will try memtest now. Edit: Why isnt my Memtest working? I selected boot from cd rom and even made 2 discs. First was with folder "boot" and another one was just files in it x.x

With a blank CD in the writer - Open Image Burn, Click top left on "Write Image File To Disk" Look at This Screen shot ( . imagef1 . net . nz/files/Image_Burn1204234903 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz) Up top, select the Memtest . ISO file, then click the Burn Button ( Bottom Arrow) when done, leave the CD in the Drive and shut down, then reboot the PC,making sure its set to boot from the CD first . | 644383 | 2008-02-28 22:30:00 | Awh No - if you download the File from my sig you will get a file called memtest86-3 . 4 . 9 . iso . zip The ISO needs to be unzipped and burnt using Image Burn . I got to go see some customers so - Click This link Here ( . savefile . com/e053a3e69f6e8e88b419c29c3554016f/memtest . iso" target="_blank">dl5u . savefile . com) its the extracted ISO file . Its roughly 1 . 8 Mb . Save it to your desktop . Then follow the instructions in the posting above on burning it to CD through Image Burn post #18 . DONT Extract anything from it -Image Burn will do all that for you . |
