332986 2005-04-04 07:49:00 How am I making the site?

I'm not, There is a 3rd party doing all the work, and for next to nothing,he also made my shop site.

The elusive Max Power,so if you ever see him on my forum then he's the man behind the code.I can tell you that he uses dreamweaver for the donkey work and codes all the rest himself, using a slighty more powerful version of notepad.....

332991 2005-05-10 17:15:00 Looks good. Back-end being the keyword I assume? vapo (5203)
332992 2005-05-10 23:10:00 I presume that’s a joke or dig of some sort, but I'm to tired to get it, so I’ll just grin stupidly and nod like I'm in on it.

Muhahahaa.

That is the user control panel, where you can view all your items for sale, add/remove them, change the description, change the pictures, tweak the price etc etc.

It works very well, and was built for functionality not looks. If someone is able to tie their shoes they will have no problem at all mastering that layout.... And like Bill Gates has said, they key to successful software is making it the easiest to use.

The front-end is being put together with practicality as the first consideration as well, but will obviously look slicker then the control panel, bells and whistles will be added over time.

We are only looking at a few more hours work to get her to a live state, and I’ll probably get a few people to stress test what we have so far over the next couple of days.

Site may even launch on Friday…..
