I found some on a canadian and US site but nothing here in nz. | LOWTEC (7821) | ||
| 645429 | 2008-05-08 02:33:00 | should come with the card No, it shouldn't. SLI bridges only come with the motherboard, because the distance between the PCI-E slots is different depending on design (thus the SLI bridge is different for different motherboards) and the video card makers wouldn't be able to account for every single possibility. damn well I think im sh*t out of luck then because neither my brand new ASUS P5KC nor my xfx 8800GT XXX edition comes with a SLI bridge connector! any one have any idea where I can get an aftermarket one? I found some on a canadian and US site but nothing here in nz. Just looked at the P5KC on Asus's website, notice it says "2 x PCIe x16 (blue @ x16 mode, black @ x4 or x1 mode) Supports CrossFire Technology" but nothing about SLI. Crossfire is different and the connectors for that come with the cards, not the board. Either way, you won't get nvidia cards running SLI on a board which is designed for ATI Crossfire... Hi everyone. I seem to have misplaced my SLi connector. Is there anywhere I can buy a new one. Thanks. If you're lucky you might be able to find one on trademe that would fit, or there may be something like a 3rd party custom/universal one somewhere |
