| 645360 | 2008-03-02 19:13:00 | When I right click on it and explore i get a pop up window that says: "You need to format the disk in drive F before you can use it, do you want to continue?" I got out of it because i was afraid if I said YES to that prompt, it would erase everything on the Flip. Not sure if this will help. Have you tried to transfer everything onto your HD. Format then transfer back the files |

| 645361 | 2008-03-02 19:48:00 | Seems really Odd that the Flip will work in other PC's and the USB ports are working OK with other devices. Before going to far, it may pay to download something like this Data Recovery (http://www.recuva.com/) Program and see if it will locate / copy off the files you have on the Flip (if you haven't already copied to another PC) other wise you could lose every thing. |

| 645362 | 2009-01-03 08:22:00 | hey there, did you ever find a resolution for this? i have a brand new vista machine, lenovo, and for some reason now, the sony digital camera wont show up with autoplay, or the sony memory card...of course i can read both as a drive, but that doesnt help me with me with the camera in my kodak gallery tool not sure what caused this as this machine is a few days old, but i did recently add an iphone to this computer..is that the culprit? any resolutions ? and it appears any other usb related connection is fine, even a different digital camera thanks, josh |
