| 337229 | 2005-03-23 11:55:00 | Well here they are: the new 1MB/s and 2MB/s plans. I'm currently on 256k bitstream and, like alot of people have been waiting in anticipation for these. Perhaps in the vain hope that they'd be an improvement on current status. I'll wait and see what Orcon come up with, but looking at the worldnet and ihug offerings, there's nothing tempting me to upgrade. (if anything, the 1mb plans are a downgrade). However that's just my opinion. Interesting to see what others think. Here's what I've found so far: Ihug: 256kbs $49.95 Unlimited. 1MB/s $39.95 1GB cap. 2MB/s $59.95 10GB cap. Worldnet: 256kbs $49.95 Unlimited. 1MB/s $44.95 2GB cap. 2MB/s $69.95 12GB cap. |

| 337230 | 2005-03-23 13:11:00 | as I'm on 256 uncapped for $49.95 at the moment I can't see why I'd consider changing [ average use 3- 4 GB per month ] Despite which I'm in the sticks and consider myself lucky to be able to get any kind of "affordable" broadband [ 7 km from the exchange] so feel sure it wouldn't get any faster here ... oh and I'm not with Xtra :D | KatiMike (242) | ||
