You reminded me that I have it on an old machine and I've just started it up for the first time for a long time. Great game. About 4-5 years ago I wrote to the UK firm that released the early CD about replacing/purchasing a new copy because our original was damaged. They sent a nice reply, advising that they had sold the rights to the programme. Correspondence to the new rights holders got no reply. ;) |

| 335554 | 2005-03-19 03:14:00 | I did a search for Lemmings, but couldn't find a online store selling the original game. Lot's of new and improved versions, but not the original. Your best bet might be to advertise locally on a online classified, trade/sell/buy website and see if anyone wants to off load their old program. If you are planning to run it on a PC platform, you will most likely need to be running a older Windows version for compatibility reasons. Before anyone suggests to try www.trademe.co.nz, sweetlady is not from the Southern Hemisphere ;) |

| 335558 | 2005-03-19 03:22:00 | its freely available from the major Abondonware sites,Granted that doesn't make it legal but they mostly have a policy of removing any software if requested by the copyright holder, If they don't get asked to remove it they then consider it abondened. Strange logic i know, but they get to stay online.... |
