| 646431 | 2008-03-05 03:12:00 | new install of Windows XP. Included MS Office 97 & SyncBack opening any MS Office document - document acts like there are other files linked to it. Same documents open without trouble on another computer. SyncBack fails to back up changed or new files. Have done a virus scan. Any suggestions as to why these programs have gone bonkers & what to do about it? Thank you in advance. |

| 646432 | 2008-03-05 03:23:00 | Without knowing too much about SyncBack specifically, I'd suggest you uninstall both, and re-install . . . . I'd do Office first, reboot, and then do SyncBack . Make sure no Office apps are running before you start the SyncBack install I'd also disable your Anti-virus first before you install either of them . . . . . if it's a Norton AV app, I'd 'disable' it permanently! ;) |
