| 339569 | 2005-03-30 06:08:00 | Anyone have some info as to the release dates for these,and what the RRP is to be?,I see them selling for $500 or so at the moment :groan: ,The Nintendo DS i see has hit the market at $250. Will also be interesting to see if Sony NZ replace the units with dead pixels with reports that 50 percent of units have at least one,and a lesser percentage have multiple. Sony has reported that dead/stuck pixels are not a fault,but just something thats expected. Must make it a feature? |

| 339570 | 2005-03-30 06:37:00 | shipments to europe have been delayed so that the states can get a good supply of them, i think they are tring to stop what happened with the nintendo where they couldn't keep up with demand.retailing in the states for 300us dollars. Some companys and i don't know about sony but they see a few dead pixels is not a warrenty claim. people in yhe states were buying them off ebay before the release date in the states which was only a couple of days away. As to the pixels,what I was getting at is before zero pixel cover was available on the budget end of the LCD range I sent a few back as defective due to a single stuck pixel,even though the warrenty didn't cover it.I recieved no argument from the suppliers. If in the case of a single dead pixel on a PSP i would be wanting to return it directly to the store for a replacement if it had a pixel issue, Seeing as there is a 50% chance of this happening then any resulting argument probally isn't worth the purchase. I was just reading another forum where someone counted 28 defective pixels on there brand new PSP...... |

| 339573 | 2005-03-30 08:08:00 | dunno when out in NZ. if you get from US u'll pay $250US for the value pack (which includes $60 of rubbish) The Jap console works out to $180-190US in Japan, but online sites still sell above this. I;ve been keen for one of these since i heard about them like a year ago. I was going to get a Jap one - but thought i;d wait. But when i heard the US ones where only available in the Value Pack (which incls a 32mb card, crap headphones, case strap) i decided i didn't wanna spend that much for the extras. So i'm looking to wait a few weeks, get a Jap standard (non VP) console and then get US games. |

I hope no one suports these criminals.(yeah yeah,pipe dream) What a pity the DS game line up is so craptastic,at least their price isn't a gang rape. |

| 339577 | 2005-04-07 07:50:00 | They're on TM at $395 by now - but then $30 postage. On the success-hk site, you can get a console and a cheap $40 US game + postage for just over $400NZ - but then u'd pay GST on tht when it comes in. Me and my mate gonna do tht soon - just gotta pik a game |

Anytime now.I'll be selling some psps |
