646271 2008-03-14 21:16:00 Well I use it on a regular basis. Fast, reliable and no spam  Was really handy tsfring info from one computer to another. Masses of storage space. No problems with delayed emails.

It was Prescott who kindly sent me an invite in March 2005, and gave me lots of good advice on it too. Have still got his pim messages in my box.

646272 2008-03-14 21:17:00 I recall something about Google keeping deleted e-mails on their server for a lot longer than some other mail apps like Yahoo or Hotmail.

Of course, if you're not planning on using your g-mail just before a messy divorce or drug deal, you should be okay.

646273 2008-03-14 21:31:00 I have used GMail for about 2 years now and find it superb. I use it as a backup for my business emails and have it set to get copies of email from my pop accounts. It also means I dont take my pc to Aussie with me as all emails are available on GMail.
I also use Google calendar and Google docs for the same reason. Calendar syncs with my Outlook to keep both up to date and having Google Docs means the key files are available to me anywhere. I recently tested it out by not taking my laptop into the office for 3 days and there was almost nothing I wasnt able to do (have a spare pc in the office).

Google calendar syncs alright to Outlook? Even recurring appointments? What program do you use as some people are looking for something exactly like that.
