2005-03-30 07:43:00 And insanely, the scoundrel who started this post managed to generate 5 pages worth of replies.... Renmoo (66)
2005-03-30 07:59:00 Gosh talking about google indexing the pages ... if you google for great warez guess what is the first hit now

2005-03-30 08:01:00 If I can work out why the Google spider loves pressf1 so much, I am going to become a search engine optimizer and sell my soul to the devil. vinref (6194)
2005-03-30 08:10:00 James: Depends on your settings. For me its only just become two pages.

george12: I think its great, we're becoming a huge knowledgebase of information, and what better exposure to the world than Google!

2005-03-30 08:24:00 ...and its not gonna get any better with a thread title like this. I suppose no 'advertising' is bad 'advertising' though...Yeah, it doesn't look the greatest for us, but if wannabe warez'ers find this thread they are in for a bitter disappointment (plus get to see a few opinions on the subject matter :p).

This thread hasn't been deleted because of the numerous replies and discussions now it in. However future similar subject matter/spam threads will be deleted. No point helping out spammers with getting their comments indexed by googlebots

2005-03-30 09:35:00 Nah - decided against locking it, but as Jen says, in future we'll just delete such stupid threads since Google seems to love us right now. Biggles (121)
2005-03-30 09:47:00 i getcha bruce, but when i was being nosy and had a look in here, this afternoon there was a lock symbol on the reply button, and metla was the last one to reply.....

2005-03-30 09:51:00 Well wasn't me. Must have been the automatic lock-any-thread-where-Metla-posts software kicking in. Obviously it's still go some bugs that need ironing out ... Biggles (121)
