646251 2008-03-05 04:18:00 Do you use Gmail and if so are you having any issues when navigating away from the page?

What a silly question. Of course I use Gmail. :D

646252 2008-03-05 05:22:00 Since I have ISP email I rather use that and it doesn't cost me anymore.

Yes, but one day you will want to change ISPs.

646253 2008-03-05 05:26:00 How did you find out when you signed up?

I just checked "All Mail" for the earliest email which was the "Welcome to Gmail" one.

646254 2008-03-05 06:03:00 As mentioned by sal earlier, I use labels, where I created labels to direct or filter my subscriptions from my own blogs as a form of back up of individual posts to my Gmail account.

How do you update a Gmail account to the next version? I can't find any versions no.'s or where to update within my Gmail account - Mine still says beta..

Wait, Hotmail and Gmail were always free and are now as well.

646256 2008-03-05 22:15:00 For some reason I don't trust free email accounts when the company is overseas. Do these companies conform to local laws? Plus, I use the email for everything, like putting a copy of my passport in there, paypal, all my bankings are linked to them and e-stores.

I was a former Clear dialup customer, I have chosen to be on usage which if I don't use its free, I'm with Xnet now for BB, the Clear email allows you to redirect to Xnet free of charge so when I download them, they just download like normal without the Xnet email address at the header. I use smtp Xnet server to email my Clear mails out.

All in all if I had to change email addy, there is just a handful of e-stores that I use, trademe, ebay, seek job sites etc and the bank.

646257 2008-03-06 01:39:00 I use Gmail and have it running through Thunderbird. I never even asked to set up an email address when joining my current ISP and won't with my next one either. Deane F (8204)

646260 2008-03-06 07:57:00 I felt that I needed to vote for 2 different options .. as I hardly ever use my gmail and it collects a lot of spam! Agent_24 (57)
