2008-03-07 08:26:00 | That is the problem DeathWish . The Spam filter is NOT enabled, yet my spam box is full of watches, purses and viagra as usual . None of which I mind having them extract . Are you absolutely sure that your spam filter is disabled? When I disable mine on the bubble, I don't have the spam box at all . . . . Yeah, Xtra's service is crap, I agree . I called them a couple times when I first joined up, can't even remember what it was about but I remember they were taking no responsibility at all, blaming all sorts of crap . Why is that? I was with them for years and found them as good if not better than Orcon . Never had anything to complain about . I'd only recommend KOL to people I hate :P I was with them too for about a year, can't believe I put up with them so long now when I look back at it . Terrible service, really really bad connection, slow and sometimes I couldn't even dial in (lines too busy - and this happened very often) .

2008-03-07 22:42:00 | That's the new interface, the older one has the option for spamguard on/off and a "Bulk" folder not whether spam goes to the folder or not. | PaulD (232) | |
2008-03-07 23:00:00 | So how do I get an old interface? This is all they gave me . I never had a "bulk" folder either I feel deprived ! :confused

2008-03-07 23:22:00 | Do you have the option for "Mail Classic" beside the log out option top left? | PaulD (232) | |
2008-03-08 03:51:00 | Glimmers of daylight here Paul. Found that, turned SpamGuard off. now lets see what happens. Meantime... looking for a new ISP anyway :thanks

2008-03-08 04:00:00 | I have had the same problem sending emails to my customers that use Xtra. I went to a customers place and they said they had not received any emails from me. So I got them to log into the 'bubble' online and we went through their Spam folder and there were no emails from me anywhere. (Did a search as well) So the emails just disappeared into IP land.

2008-03-15 18:44:00 | Dear linzi, You have experienced the joy of a help desk located in INDIA. That is the reason I left Xtra and am now with Inspire. Very happy now:D

2008-03-15 19:10:00 | I got sick of them and got myself a domain name, a la Geoff Palmer, (who's to say any ISP I have in the future is going to be any better!). I sent e-mails notifying most recipients about my e-mail change and proceeded to only check the xtra stuff every few days on their website, just in case there was some one important to me, I'd left out. Now, I don't check it at all, any one with my old address, tough(99% of it, is spam).
