2008-03-04 01:18:00 | hey thks for all the feedback after doing more research i'm 99% sure this is the machine for me but still battling whether to go for the higher capacity batt ARGGGG lighter vs longer life why can't I have both! | cajetan (8513) | |
2008-03-04 01:38:00 | I have seen a normal and TrueLife screen side by side, the main difference is the true life significantly decreases glare and reflections, a plus if watching movies a lot. Especially it your in a room with fluorescent lights. Colours seemed a bit warmer too. Are you sure? For great images in difficult lighting conditions, Dell recommends anti-glare screens for Inspiron laptops. An anti-glare coating helps prevent reflections from strong light sources that can be distracting with a glossy TrueLifeTM screen.

2008-03-04 01:51:00 | Sorry cajetan, looks like I gave you some dodgy info. Probably when I was looking at the laptops, I got them muddled. The normal screen would probably be better for you. | wratterus (105) | |
2008-03-04 02:02:00 | ohhhhhh okkkk  so DON'T take the option of the TrueLife ADD ON then....... right????? | cajetan (8513) | |
2008-03-04 02:17:00 | Heres (www1.ap.dell.com) the info available from Dell on their screens. It really depends on what you want the computer for and the conditions you will be using it in as to whether you want truelife . | stormdragon (6013) | |
