646892 2008-03-06 08:40:00 I've just bought a 2G USB flash drive from Dick Smiths, and although it works fine on my 2 XP laptops,it asks for drivers on my 98 desktop and as none came with it,it won't recognise it when it is plugged in.Any ideas? Thanks

Peter

Not to panic, this is normal behaviour for win98, all you need to do is download some mass storage drivers to get the OS to recognize what you're plugging in.

Try:
www.technical-assistance.co.uk
or
http://usbflashdrivers.com/
or just search google for 'usb flash driver for windows 98'
