| 340187 | 2005-04-01 03:57:00 | OK someone has tagged my neighbours letterbox and I have tried using isopropyl alcohol, Mineral Turps, Petrol to clean to no avail. The letterbox is an old aluminium one with a little paint that is begining to flake off. The tagging was done with a permanent marker (Not the Vivid kind but similar) and its not paint as there are no drip marks and its got felt tip marker texture on the strokes. any ideas? |

| 340188 | 2005-04-01 04:20:00 | try MEK (methol ethol keytone) ithink, it is used in the printing industry as dry ink remover. Are you near a printer, just go ask if you can borrow a few drops but watch out as it will clear the sinuses | plod (107) | ||

| 340190 | 2005-04-01 05:53:00 | Meths should do it. It will probably remove some of what's left of the paint, too. Or wet&dry will remove it and prepare the surface for repainting.;) | Graham L (2) | ||
