Such budget things are not my territory. But we are a commercial enterprise you know. We actually try to make money .... ... you know though I've heard that thing about it being a "promotional thing for the mag" before but it never really started that way. I don't know if anyone here remembers, but we used to run PressF1 as a bulletin board back in the early/mid 90s before this Internet fad took over. It was always conceived as a (hopefully) valuable service based on the idea that the quickest and easiet ways to solve computer problems was to to put you in touch with other users. |

| 339801 | 2005-03-31 23:16:00 | Those ads are very seldom, and quite random. To block them you need to disable javascript in your browser, because that's all they are - a cunning script. I'm working on an alternative method, but just haven't come across one in ages to have a closer look. I'll report back after more investigation. |
