| 647300 | 2008-03-13 07:25:00 | no luck with the above, I'm afraid. I've tried a system restore and even downloaded SP1 (but it won't install, same 8007002 error). sounds like a full re-installation for me, just as well SP1 is out so I can start clean with that. Thanks for your help nonetheless. |

| 647301 | 2008-03-28 04:57:00 | SOLUTION FOUND!!!!! (well it worked for me) I had the same problem. Piecing some information from many different sources together I was able to get the install to finish. Following these 2 easy setups and try the install again. I never rebooted even when asked until the install was finished. 1. Run > "Services" Select "Windows Modules Installer" Enter "Properties" Start-up Type: "Automatic" Service Status: "Started" 2. Control Panel > "Turn Windows features on or off" Expand "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0" Enable All 3 Options (Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Activation) (Windows Communication Foundation Non-HTTP Activation) (XPS Viewer) 3. Begin Office 2007 Install. Post up if this works for you. |
