647263 2008-03-08 05:42:00 You dont copy you type the url for the video into one of the sites, if it says to type it.

Like the one I posted, whatever the site is in FF or IE, type it on this site.

Then select the video format, then it converts it. Wait for it to finish, it'll bring up a download window thing, all you do is save it.

647267 2008-03-08 06:30:00 I may be wrong here, but I thought you had to copy it directly from YouTube (ie find that video ON youtube.com and go from there) --Wolf-- (128)
647268 2008-03-08 06:33:00 Oh??:crying R.M. (561)
647269 2008-03-08 06:34:00 Ah, click on the video window, (once you select it from the bottom lot) from the link you gave R.M.

(Not play, it'll take you to the video on the Youtube site).

Thats WHAT you copy and paste (the youtube url), in the link I gave.

WHAT exactly are you going to play it on or through after its been converted?

647271 2008-03-08 07:05:00 I find the firefox plugins work best for me. [you have to trust the creator though]
One of them I used to have would even check my cache for it - So I could watch it,and save it in 1 second from cache rather than redownload it(right click the video, allow flash to use more hard disk)

For easy video conversion I use WINFF 0.33
For ultra compatibility, you can use choose MPEG2 in it.

Nothing worse than showing someone a video and no internet to get codecs.

VLC player for playback. Its too bad alot of youtube is such rubbish quality, and stage6 isnt allowing more uploads last I saw.
