Fly-out menus such as the one on your site are generally done nowadays using the suckerfish method (www.htmldog.com). This involves structuring your menu using a basic unordered list and using CSS to achieve the effect, specifically the :hover pseudo-class. JS can then be used to give the menu "polish" (users.tpg.com.au) (as well as help poor old IE along). This is in contrast to traditional JS-based methods where these menus simply wouldn't work if JS was disabled. |
