647514 2008-03-09 03:40:00 I've been wanting to sync my Outlook calendar with Google (i.e Outlook -> Google, not the other way around), for some time. I have tried various 3rd party programs, and they have mostly worked, except for one problem.

I have the same problem using Google's CalendarSync program. I am running Outlook 2007 Pro. Timezones etc. are all set correctly.

What is this problem? Some appointments will be pushed 30mins late. It doesn't happen to all appointments.

Has anyone had any similar problems, or have any suggestions for other alternatives? And before anyone suggests it, I will not stop using Outlook.

647515 2008-03-09 03:44:00 Have you tried SyncMyCal?

I use it at work, really good.

647516 2008-03-09 03:49:00 I investigated SyncMyCal, but the free version only offers 7-day syncing.

I've identified a pattern with the problem though, which is that _recurring_ appointments such as weekly meetings get pushed back 30mins, whereas one-off appointments are fine.

647517 2008-03-09 03:54:00 Your keen to get some free software rather than paying for some? wratterus (105)

I'd rather not pay for something like this, if I can avoid it. It surprises me that Google's own software is having these sort of issues.

I avoid Outlook!

Why blame Outlook? Outlook doesn't need to cater for Google users but Google DOES need to cater for those transferring over from Outlook.
