| 647464 | 2008-03-08 22:51:00 | last night I left a computer on to download some stuff, later on I noticed the lights of my router not flashing - obviously not a good sign for downloads So I went to said PC and it had crashed :yuck: There is nothing in the log of the actual crash, but there is this: Event Type: Information Event Source: Save Dump Event Category: None Event ID: 1001 Date: 9/03/2008 Time: 10:42:53 a.m. User: N/A Computer: INTEL550 Description: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000c5 (0x00b8000a, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x8053e05b). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini030908-01.dmp. Which microsoft tell me is "DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL" (support.microsoft.com) They talk about using driver verifier to find out what might be causing the problem, does anyone here know how to use that? |
