| 343858 | 2005-04-11 22:33:00 | I'm in a bad mood and I feel like telling the world about it. I've just renewed my driving license. Seventy five years old. The COST $42 for a medical. $18.30 for a five year license. . $200.10 to register the car. $42.00 for a warrent of fitness. And, not that it matters, my doctor didn't put a tick where it says I'm fit to drive all classes of vehicle. So now all I can drive is a car. I can't even ride a motor bike. I haven't ridden one for fifty years but that's beside the point. The only amusing thing is the doctor ticked where it says my eyesight is OK, so I don't have to wear glasses to drive. I've needed them for the past ten years!!!! Now I'll spend the day looking at my empty wallet. And this has nothing to do with computers. |
