| 342746 | 2005-04-08 07:59:00 | Jetstream is now available in my area. Didn't think we would ever get it, so a year ago I signed up for wireless broadband. A very helpful Telecom rep, called Mohammed, said that if I wanted to change to Jetstream then any penalty for breaking my contract as regards the wireless service, would be waived. He also went on to say that they have a package (Fonterra - Telecom broadband accord) which would set me up with what I require. I have a feeling that the ADSL modem they provide could be pretty basic and even USB. Which might not suit me. I think ethernet would be better for my setup ( would be better for my Linux interest). Anyone got any thoughts on what would be a good ADSL, router, modem? :nerd: |
