Wainui has an Iso burning program in hi sig its easy to do, I've burnt a few linux distro's and it couldn't be easier.

HD makers provide bootable floppy diagnostic tools or iso's of bootable CDs.

It is rather nice, and definitely stress free, to be playing with a computer for which the outcomes are irrelevant.

Cheers

Except on a bigger scale (so it fits on a cd or dvd, and extracts to a cd or dvd).

Depending on how big the original ISO is / was.
