| 648631 | 2008-03-12 03:23:00 | Maybe you need some instructions on posting a screen shot as well. Following the link speedy gave you open that page - Click on BASIC INTERFACE - A browse Button will come up - browse to where ever you have the screen shot on your PC and double click it - then you will see in the before blank box your file, click UPLOAD THIS FILE - once uploaded you will see a new address in that box. High Light it - and copy / paste it back into your forum post - once you click Summit Reply - a link to your screen shot will appear - others can then see what you are meaning ( hopefully) ;) Wai, it was listed at the bottom of the link given. I checked to make sure it was there. Had done a screen shot a long time ago for Speedy. I must same that link for future ref. Lurking. |

A dalmoi, now sees the problem with Adobe Flash Player . It's used at pressf1 and I have a very slow pc!! . Son is building us a better machine, which will bring us into line with others' with more powerfull machines . Speedy may pick up on this quandry too . Regards, Lurking . Explanation follows: Max Says: March 5th, 2008 at 1:48 pm Bravo! Flash is HIDEOUS . It means I cant view pages with slow computers, among all the other problems you cite . If youve ever tried to watch a Flash animation or a YouTube video on a slow computer, forget it . Whereas a standard mpg or QuickTime file can play just fine even on a 10 year old machine, with a Flash video, man, you better have a FAST machine or you can forget any hope of lip sync and smooth motion . And who doesnt DESPISE going to a web site only to find that it is utterly unusable without Flash 9 . 12 . 18 . latest_version . came_out_last_week . beta - Sorry, you must install the latest version of Flash Player to use this site . Guess what? I DO NOT . I will happily not use that site ever again (Keep this in mind, people, if you want visitors to go to your site . ) Regarding the licensing bind I dont know . This product: . swf-mac . com/swfplayer . html" target="_blank">www . swf-mac . com can play flash animations on a Mac, is free, and does not require you to even have the stock Flash player on your machine . So they have definitely engineered a player . Max Says: March 5th, 2008 at 1:48 pm Bravo! Flash is HIDEOUS . It means I cant view pages with slow computers, among all the other problems you cite . | 648638 | 2008-03-15 07:11:00 | It depends if youre on dialup or broadband, if youre planning on watching a youtube vid online. I've played a few recently, no prob at all. Even if you were on a slow PC, I dont think it'd matter. If youre on broadband, it should be pretty smooth. Altho, this may depend on WHEN you view it. If you get on at night usually, it may stop and start, due to congestion. And converting flv / flash wasnt a prob till recently. Super 2007 was fine, Super 2008 made it worse ! Everything was out of sync. At least Super 2007 worked most of the time. I tried to convert a flash file in 2008 4-5 times in a row. It was always out of sync. Then I tried all video converter, it was as bad as Super 2008. In the end I gave up, and went to a site that converts flv files to MP4 format. |

| 648639 | 2008-03-15 18:20:00 | Thanks Speedy, at night is when most of the problems occur. As a matter of interest, we have been shareholders in a firm called IndraNet for several years and they have been boasting about their superior internet supply. That's the main reason for not going onto Broadband, shareholders were supposed to come in with cheaper faster internet. Thanks again for replying. Lurks. |
