648893 2008-03-12 22:19:00 I stream a radio station using WMP.

Every now and then I click the radio site link and get WMP saying:

The specified netwok name is no longer available.

Theres never any problem with the website. It just decides to come right after a few tries.

Can't find anything useful to explain it.

I use the 32kbps stream.

648894 2008-03-13 19:24:00 What happens if you try using different DNS servers? Like from a different ISP? Chilling_Silence (9)
648895 2008-03-13 20:58:00 No idea, never tried it.

It only does this occasionally, maybe 1 day out of 5. Just persisting, cancel it, retry etc several times and it behaves.

Its weird........

648896 2008-03-13 21:12:00 I have the same kinda problem with streaming videos.I can't watch any of the videos on the tv3 website (and other sites that use windows media player), it just has a black screen with "No video" on it.Ive tried uninstalling and then reinstalling WMP but it hasn't changed a thing.. 648897 2008-03-13 21:19:00 It depends what browser you use, if you use firefox, it needs a plugin

You have to install it for websites that use it, so they can play the videos
