NZ Herald (www.nzherald.co.nz) reports that NetPC has stopped business. Customers left in the lurch.
I almost considered buying one of their low-price units. Maybe they were too low-priced (low qualiry) too. Still ast least they would have generic components and can be repaired by any reputable PC service firm at a cost. |

from what i've seen of their pc's they where total crap, elcheapo to the max. its a shame people where silly enough to part with $$$$ before receiving the goods tho :(. |

Hah, they were not far from me. I've had to fix several of their s***boxes. One solo mum had a problem with her modem in hers just after the warranty ran out and they charged her $300 to "fix" it. Serves them right, the scum. |
