I am curious about peoples ideas... Something personal? a Business site? a Mega Index?

346082 2005-04-17 20:21:00 I would built a personal blog. With blogging, nobody can say the content on your website is wrong or right and you can never run out of idea of what to publish on your webpages :p I've done a couple of website on Pokemon, Midi as well as a homepage for myself. Cheers :) Renmoo (66)

Showing of my cute doggy, or making a big deal of some upcoming event i'm involved with, or showing of my toys in my main websight.......

No imagination, thats my problem!

A business site that is easy to administer, contains high-quality content and makes money! Which is what I am attempting to do at the moment. The hardest thing to get is the high-quality content, not the design itself.

346085 2005-04-18 06:33:00 Probably not relevant to many of you, but I'd build an online NZSL (NZ Sign Language) dictionary.

People would visit the website, type in a specific word, and a video clip/s will come up, with the sign/s for that word. There'd be different clips of signs for different context.

Some signed languages from around the world already have this, and it's fantastic!

346086 2005-04-18 07:32:00 thats a cool idea caffy :)

me on the other hand, i wouldnt have a clue. we get to make websites for NCEA Level 3, i think its worth 3 credits. its pretty easy all we need to have is one link, a pic and a special feature. not sure on what im going to do it on this year. mayube something plain and simple.... a rock or a leaf perhaps. But im gonna make animated toolbars and roll overs in photoshop so it looks slick.

346087 2005-04-18 12:04:00 err something plain and simple is good.

If its quick to load and easy to navigate, thats the best bet.

But if its plain and boring, that puts a lot of people off.

346088 2005-04-18 12:30:00 Im with Bob Doe.... Fast, even for Dial-Up, as some people arent blessed enough to have Broadband.

Simple yet effective navigation helps.

Yet you dont want a plain/boring/imageless site.

Its a fine line to find

Hey, your sites looking sweet bob_doe. I can really apreciate a site like that.

I've got quite a bit of webspace and I'm looking at purchasing a domain name soon, but I'm not exactly sure in which direction I want to go. I'm really interested in providing help and resources. Yes, I want to have an actual website of my own just for the sake of it, but about what, I dunno.
