| 345107 | 2005-04-15 08:17:00 | Chimpanzees don't engage in suicide bombing campaigns, fall for Nigerian email scams or drink alcohol just to get drunk, so I considered them more intelligent than humans. That is, until I read this shocking news! The New Zealand Herald reports (www.nzherald.co.nz) that zoo-keepers in South Africa and China are trying to get their chimps to give up the evil habit of...smoking! Apparently, these noble creatures are just as prone to peer-pressure and have been aping those awful bi-peds and have taken up that filthy addiction. Whatever next? Listening to head-banger music? Skateboarding in traffic? |
