346073 2005-04-18 08:17:00 Just to put you all right about this we aim for around 300% on infrastrural and operational (combined) costs. It's pretty easy. We dominate and can use our size to, we like to say, "rationalise" the market.

The boss doesn't get 1 Mill a year because she works for it, we get paid what we can afford. And that's very generous - thank you all very much.

End of Commuication.

Just to put YOU right about this we aim for a 300% improvement on current broadband offerings in New Zealand. It's pretty easy. We dominate because we pay the bills, and that's being completely rational.

The boss gets 1 Mill a year (actually that's 2Mill - you obviously don't read the news otherwise you would have realised by now that NZ is behind the rest of the world in the broadband stakes) because she's lucky to be in the right place at the right time and pulls all the right strings. We pay you what we can't afford. And THAT is very generous. Thank you very much.

It certainly will be "End of communication" if Telecom keeps this up.

346079 2005-04-18 12:52:00 Hi! I was the original poster of this thread...

Well, the "source" I got was just from a friend, and it sounded right, so I just decided to post it... haha, sorry for the wrong info then, at least it started a sort of dicussion here!

But hmm, about what Kame said, about the RAN servers. You said that speed limit changes won't take effect until the user logs in again. But I keep my connection on and doesn't disconnect all the time, so when will I "login again"???
