Has anyone successfully created a 'Symantec Recovery Disk'?

According to the user manual, it says that I can create one from the Files > Create Recovery Disk menu; when I was stuck at the Symantec Recovery Disk Loacation. I specified the path correctly - my DVD writer, i.e. E:\ ; but NGhost says:
"Invalid Symantec Recovery Disk location specified. Please specifiy a valid path to a Symantec Recovery Disk."

What have I done wrong?

It says, Insert the Recovery disk into your CD drive - so you need one to begin with.

But, somewhere in the Manual, it says:

"Note: Depending on which version of the product you have purchased, the SRD is either included on your product CD, or as a separate CD. You should place the CD containing the SRD in a safe place. Should you lose the CD, you can create a new one if you have have a CD burner."

It clearly stated that I can create a SRD without the original CD. This copy of Norton was preinstalled on the computer, it therefore has no SRD. That's the reason why I need to create one.

Have searched Symantec's knowledge base, it all says that a SRD is needed to create one. Why do I need to create one if I already have one?
