650339 2008-03-18 00:55:00 is anyone able to hel me with this please.
i successfully transcoded and burnt a digital video from a camera but when i tried to do the same thing from another tape from the same camera it all turned to custard for me.
it gets nearly to the end of transcoding and then i get the error message....
transcoding of video files failed:transcoding of video files failed (Internal error 2009235751)
i uninstalled nero ultra edition and nerovision2 and used the clean tool as well.
reinstalled and tried again and got the same error message at same point in the file.
i have plenty of ram and plenty of HDD
running windows xp
think my cpu is 1.91GHz (?)
any help muchly appreciated
thanx

650340 2008-03-18 01:05:00 WHAT version of Nero / Nerovision was / is it?

Its not the SE version is it?

And WHAT was the original format of the video??

It could be, because the dvd plugin wasnt installed.

This is needed, if you want to burn to DVD

650341 2008-03-18 05:00:00 nero6 ultra edition
nerovision express 2
when they came off the cam into the pc they were avi files

i uploaded the 2 tapes thru movie maker to begin with too..and somewhere i did see something about them being dv avi files? but they r now shown as being just avi files

and if the dvd plugin wasnt installed why did the first tape burn successfully but not the second one?

650342 2008-03-18 08:07:00 Pretty old NeroVision version - it's up to v5 now :)

I think this patch (ftp://ftp4.nero.com/patches/SMCPatch.exe) will (hopefully) fix your problem

It's from Nero site

650344 2008-03-20 00:15:00 Update it or try another program.

Like this (http://cdburnerxp.se/)

Or this (http://www.imgburn.com/)

Both are free.

How big is the file, and is the hdd formatted in FAT32 or NTFS?
