649874 2008-03-16 05:21:00 This week happen to me something really unusual. I did burn a CD using Burn4Free software and the files were there at the end. Good so far. I sent the CD to another machine (running Ubuntu 7.10) and then there were icons of the files -not shortcuts- but the files would not open and the OS said there were not files in the CD although it reported the right used space in the CD. I brought the CD back to the initial machine and the files were there and they open correctly right away.
The week before a friend burned a DVD in his machine (WinXP SP2, NERO) and happen the same. I brought the DVD to my machine and the files seemed to be there, both WinXP SP2 and Ubuntu 7.10 showed the icons -not shortcuts- and reported the right used space but did not open the files, reported that the files were not available. !!! I am using AVG anti virus up to date! Any advice????

649876 2008-03-16 06:52:00 Assuming you finalized the disc, it may depend if the correct file formats/types exist within the program to open the files properly... kahawai chaser (3545)
