| 348196 | 2005-04-24 06:16:00 | How anyone used or know any information about this website and service. It offers a US address forwarding service so that you can buy goods within the US and then have them forwarded onto New Zealand... http://www.myus.com The service seems like a great idea but I'm not sure how good it is and what guarentees it offers.... Any help would be greatly appreciated. M. |

You have to use their postal address as an official secondary address on your credit card so that US company's will accept your overseas credit card (if they don't). Unless you are planning to buy products regularly the fee's will add up. $35 USD initial setup fee + $15 USD monthly fee. A package that weighs 3Kg sent Air Freight to NZ will cost you $16.53 USD (this is on top of the postage to get your purchase to the forwarding company). Looking at the website, they have stated a physical postal address and landline phone number, their secure site has a valid SSL Server Certificate. They also state they will be confirming your billing postal address for your credit card. I cannot find a privacy policy on the site though. How often do you think you will be using this service? It may be a bit costly for a one-off or very irregular purchases. A bit of a quick google doesn't show up anyone complaining about this company. |
