| 347787 | 2005-04-24 05:47:00 | I noticed last week that Doom3 had been released for the Xbox,so seeing as my old boy was a big fan of the oginal we grabbed him the game and a console, also grabbed one of those advanced avi break out boxes that are meant to enhance the visuals and have optical audio (w00t w00t) Anyhow,Used the s-video to feed it in his projector,optical audio into his crazy amp and room full of speakers. Powered it up....Doom3 in all its glory,crushing audio,big screen video Excellent. He went....Meh. Wasn't impressed untill he discovered the original Doom game was also on the DVD. Thats how I left him, Playing Doom,Pixel edition, on 15 grands worth of hardware.... |
