347443 2005-04-22 04:09:00 Hi all, I've been given a microsoft sidewinder 3d pro joystick for the kids computer so does anyone know of a free or cheap game that would be fun to use with a joystick?. Maybe a flying/space type game. The computer is only a P2 300mhz, 160mb ram and 8mb voodoo graphics card so the game would have to be quite old i suppose. Any ideas and maybe a link would be great.
Thanks Brian.

347445 2005-04-22 04:22:00 The original Motocross Madness, works well with a joystick, and would fit your system specs.

I have a copy around somewhere, its only worth postage value.

347448 2005-04-22 04:38:00 hmmm.....I dunno, You could just pm me an address and when I can I'll drop it in the mail,Waste of time and effort trying to sting someone for a couple dollars to cover postage....

Thats if I can find it, And I'll have a look in the boxes of junk I have for any other games from around that era, Though I probally gave them away already.

Having said that, I just looked in my desk draw and found the original Motoracer and something called MS Football (so real it hurts).

Damn, I just the other day donated to the local library a copy of Star Wars Pod Racer and Homeworld - both of which are really cool.

I've still got the old Alpha Centauri free to a good home, but it's not something that requires a joystick, and honestly the damn game is way too complicated for just playing a quick blast.

347451 2005-04-23 01:38:00 my star wars pod racer doesnt seem to work on my xp machine, and the 166 is too slow to play it :(. it installs in xp but just as you click on the race button it quits out of it :annoyed: Prescott (11)
